The City Heart is a daily mood guide for cities worldwide.

Every day, at midnight local time, each city in our collection receives a fresh reading — drawn from the weather, the season, the day of the week, and the deep character of the place itself. The result is something between a weather forecast and a letter from a well-travelled friend: specific, warm, and written with genuine knowledge of where you are.

We don't tell you what to see. We tell you how the city feels today — and what that suggests you might do with it.

The City Heart covers 94 cities across seven regions — and growing — from London to Tokyo, Sydney to New York, Cape Town to Buenos Aires. Every suggestion is tailored to your mood, your time of day, and how close you are to the centre of things.

This is a project of light and shade, from the people behind Butterfly Storm (coming later in 2026).
